A living garden is not created alone. A garden may begin with flowers. Then come the bees. Then the birds. And before long, people feel completely at home there too.

That is why, as a garden designer, I don’t design a garden for you, but with you. Because a garden you have helped create feels different. You know the stories behind the choices. You know why that tree stands there, why those particular plants bloom, and how the seasons unfold. The garden becomes not only more beautiful, but truly yours.

I work with native plants wherever possible, because they form the foundation of a healthy environment for flowers, bees, birds, and people. A garden is not a backdrop, but a living ecosystem in which everything is connected.

That connection also exists between you and your garden. Imagine opening the garden door one morning and feeling that the garden fits naturally into your life. Because the bees have found their way in. Because the birds are returning. And because you find yourself wanting to care for this place.

First, the flowers bloom. Then the bees and birds find their way in. And ultimately, the most important thing happens: you feel that you belong here.
